What GMP Certification Really Means for Your Skincare

Behind the acronym: how Good Manufacturing Practice protects the products you put on your skin every day.

GMP — Good Manufacturing Practice — is the framework that governs how a cosmetic product is made, not just what goes into it. It covers everything from raw material quarantine and water purity to operator hygiene and batch traceability.

In our Konya facility, every incoming ingredient is tested against specification before it can enter production. Each batch carries a unique record: who made it, when, on which line, from which lots — retrievable years later.

Stability and challenge testing follow production, confirming that a cream behaves identically in month eighteen as on day one, and that its preservative system keeps it safe throughout.

When you see GMP and ISO 22716 on a label, you are reading a promise about process. It is the quiet infrastructure of trust behind every AY12 product — and every brand we manufacture.
